Madison Hunter is a recently graduated Broadcasting student at Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois, and for her senior project she created a short independent documentary on Ashmore Estates. Ashmore Estates, as my longtime readers know, is the most well-known dark tourism destination in east-central Illinois. I’ve been researching and writing about it for over 20 years, so I was flattered when Madison asked to interview me for the project.
