Reese at the Beach

Model Reese C. poses on the Potomac River at sundown in northern Virginia. The sunset provided soft tones and colors ideal for model photography, but unfortunately an intervening line of trees blocked most of the direct sunlight.

Reese was a great choice for this shoot, and the tones and colors came out much nicer than my previous attempt at a beach location last year.

In post-processing, I focused on bringing out her tanned skin tone and rich hair color. Unfortunately, my ISO of 160 was just a little too low for the amount of light, so a lot of great photos were ruined by motion blur.
