Airport Diner, at 3760 Veterans Memorial Hwy in Bohemia, Long Island, New York, was opened by Simon Hiones in 1975 and is run by his son, Peter. It is a Greek-American style diner with a diverse menu and is open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. They also have a full bar with wine and several mixed drinks to choose from. One Yelp reviewer wrote, “This diner has better matzo ball soup than the Kosher restaurants in the area. What does that tell you?” I’m not sure, but if you like matzo ball soup, I guess this is the place to go.
