Filmmaker John Specht asked me to come down to Coles County on Saturday to be interviewed for another segment for his project “Fear in the Flatlands”. This time, they got some footage of me in a van being driven through the streets of Charleston. It was a great time and I’m excited about this project.

Christi,
The Legends and Lore of Coles County was written before the Kelley’s bought the building. I know Scott and I have been to Ashmore Estates many times since they opened it as a haunted house, as evidenced by the pictures above. I am not planning on updating the Legends and Lore of Coles County, but you can read about the history of Ashmore Estates in detail by buying my digital book “Ashmore Estates: Myth & Legend.”

You seriously need to update your legends and lores of coles county site. For one thing, Ashmore estates is now owned by a man named Scott Kelly and it used for a halloween haunted house and tours. There’s alot more there that needs to be updated as well.
